The Thoracic Surgery Program, affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, is based at The Miriam Hospital, Newport Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital. We provide comprehensive care for complex thoracic problems, with a dedicated focus on thoracic oncology. Our team offers the most up-to-date treatments for benign and malignant diseases of the chest, lungs and esophagus. Under the leadership of Dr. Jacques P. Fontaine and Dr. Thomas Ng, we have developed an expertise in minimally invasive surgery and state-of-the-art procedures.
